Sisley’s Phyto Cernes Éclat

“Phyto-Cernes Eclat eye concealer instantly camouflages dark circles and shadows, reduces puffiness and signs of fatigue and visibly smoothing out wrinkles and fine lines while beautifying the eye contour area. Its metal massage tip creates an immediate, cool decongesting effect and its brush allows for a customized application. Day after day, Phyto-Cernes Eclat helps to significantly reduce the size of under-eye bags due to the caffeine, peptidic soy extract and horsetail extract. The supple, creamy formula ensures an easy application, natural finish, and a long wear.”

Dark circles have always been a problem for me, even when I was a teen, and well, it hasn´t gotten any better since I passed my twenties. Apparently caused by poor circulation in the region, my eyes usually look tired. Only a fair amount of concealer is the solution to a fresh and bright looking make-up, which is why I decided to try Sisley´s new Phyto Cernes Éclat.

The metal applicator is said to work by massaging and draining the eye contour to reduce puffiness and boost micro-circulation. The brush which is included is very helpful for blending the concealer, but for maximum results, I recommend that you use your fingers to slightly tap on your under eye area (I tend to believe that this method leaves more of the actual product in place instead of blending it too much with the foundation).

I absolutely love the lightweight and fragrance-free formula. It is easy to blend and conceals my dark circles without looking creased or leaving a sticky residue. Another great benefit is that my whole eye contour area feel moisturized and fresh upon application, something I have experienced with any other product so far.

This is my go-to-product for a fresh look and I can´t imagine living without it. If you ask me, Sisley´s Phyto Cernes Éclat is the best concealer on the market and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an easy to apply product and highly effective weapon against dark circles.

Sisley Phyto Lip Twist Tinted Balm

Even though I own way too many beauty products, lip products prevail in my makeup bags. I don´t know why, but I just can´t get enough of them…

However, one of my new beloved discoveries are these:

Sisley-Paris Phyto-Lip Twist is a tinted balm, colored like a lipstick and shiny like a gloss. It is applied with a single “twist” and leaves the lips supple, moisturized, visibly smoothed and plumped thanks to its cocktail of original plant-based active ingredients’.

These Lip Twists can be used sheerly with one sweep or built up for more colour (usually two swipes are enough). The colours are quite flirty with some are sheerer tones (such as Nude and Baby) or intense colors (like Berry and Cherry). In terms of smoothing and moisturizing the lips, these balms contain Phytosqualene (derived from olive oil) and Commiphora Resin extract (similar to Myrrh) which have a firming effect on the sensitive skin of the lips.

With a price of US $ 50 (or £ 29) these lip crayons are very expensive, but to fair, they are by far the most smoothing and colorful lip balms out there. The quality is – just what you would expect with Sisley- absolutely superb, and my current go-to-color is No. 02, a nude baby pink tone (shown here and here).
