Dior´s Transat Summer collection is out and boy, is it beautiful! I reviewed some of my favorite pieces, so read on to learn more and see some swatches!

If you love an even skin tone and that certain glow, I´d say that this powder is an absolute must. This warm champagne colored shade contais a lot of light-reflectiong particles and has a very soft texture. I love to apply it as a highlighter on my cheekbones and under my eyebrows to give my face a bit more conture. For an overall shimmer, I recommend you use the powder with its brush and try to apply it very lightly as the shimmer can be quite intense.

I absolutely fell in love with this product, and since it´s a limited edition, I am thinking about maybe purchasing a second one…

The Dior Addict Lip Maximizer and the Dior Addict Lipstick are two of my favorite products from this collection. But let´s start with the lip maximizer first: This pink colored version of the established Dior Addict Lip Maximizer contains a collagen enriched formula and is supposed to smoothen and plump the lips. Well, while the slightly tingling feeling may be a bit unusual at first, the result is definitely worth it. After only ten minutes, my lips look full, soft and have an amazing shine to them. In my opinion, this product is very good for everyday use, especially if you like glossy lips and a very natural look.

dior-transat-summerlook-2014-014 dior-transat-summerlook-2014-009When I first opened this lipstick, I thought “wow, what a deep coral pink shade!” And yes, the color is a lot more brighter in its packaging than when applied. But to honest, I like this soft pink version ever more – I already own many pink, coral or even coral-pink lipsticks, and this warm tone is a nice change. The formula is very rich and the lipstick feels more like a lip balm. It leaves my lips soft and with just the right amount of color.

Dior Mono Transat Edition in Pavillon: This is a very nice and subtle bronze shade that can be applied both dry and wet. If you want a more intense look, I advise you to use the eye shadow wet (which is what I did in the above pic).

And last but not least, the Dior 5 Couleurs Eye Shadow Palette. For this summerlook, Dior choose three shades of blue and combined them with a nice matte brown and a very sparkling ice blue top coat.

Resumé: There is not a single piece in this collection that hasn´t caught my attention. I love how Dior always finds a way to surprise and this new summerlook is just perfect for warm days and long nights.
