Today I am enjoying the second day of my spring break. It feels ridiculously great to be able to sleep in, have breakfast and read a book or magazine! I’m telling you lovelies, life is great, except I am so completely behind on almost all of my subjects and should use this “break” to catch up on some readings! Despite this shattering reality I took a day off and spent it entirely at the Retiro Park in Madrid. While that day was not all about leisure (I was part of a photography centred project), it was so nice to be able to spend an entire day outside, let the sun shine on my pale face and soak in all that vitamin D! Although the weather was amazingly warm, I was wearing my chunky grey Zara cashmere sweater. This particular piece is extra comfy because of its relaxed, oversized shape. I completed this look with grey Jbrand skinnies and really affordable suede leather chelsea boots I scored at Zara! The centrepiece of my look was a classic Chanel pearl necklace. It’s my first Chanel necklace of that kind and at first it felt very unfamiliar but the silver hardware makes it easy to pair and goes really well with leather jackets ☺.
Maybe you have noticed that this post’s images have quite a different vibe. That is because I was lucky enough to be photographed by my very talented friend Maryse, who is a professional fashion photographer. I personally love the creative innocence of the shots, what do you think?
